
Learning and Teaching Practice
The University of Salford is committed to promoting good learning and teaching practice through a process of curriculum innovation and development. Colleagues based in Staff and Curriculum Development contribute to this process by providing:
- Support for activities across the University that encourage curriculum innovation and development in pursuit of the 'quality learning experience'
- Support in managing the adaptation of new ideas and good practice across different disciplines, schools, faculties etc.
- A central point of enquiry regarding the wide range of sources of information available internally and externally related to the development of learning and teaching practice in HE
- Dissemination of curriculum innovation and good practice across the University
- A developmental focus on curriculum innovation and good practice which is related to existing University priorities and strategic goals
- Enhancement of teaching practice through the delivery of award bearing programmes of study for staff members which contribute to their CPD
