Online Packs and Materials
As part of our commitment to ensuring that all staff at the University of Salford have access to development opportunities, we are integrating web-based learning materials into the Staff Development Programme. Development of these materials is centred on the production of a series of online guides, packs and discussion papers designed to increase your control over learning by enabling you to undertake development activities at a time and place which best suits you.
Open Learning Resource Centre
Additionally, the Staff and Curriculum Development section of the EDU manages a considerable resource centre consisting of books, journals, papers and audio-visual media that are available to all staff. These resources cover wide-ranging topics from appraisal to study skills, counselling to personal development and management issues to quality issues.
Staff are welcome to drop into the Resource Centre, fifth floor, Crescent House at any time during office hours. Please telephone in advance to ensure that a member of staff is available to assist you (extension 52331).
